Grieving from the tragic car-accident death of his beloved wife, Sherwin (David Oyelowo) travels from Atlanta to Maine in order to finally meet his abrasive, estranged mother-in-law Lucinda (Dianne Wiest). Sherwin's late wife (Hani Furstenberg) had a rocky relationship with her terminally-ill mother, culminating with a trip that ended in confrontation just before her accident. Lucinda and Sherwin attempt to connect and mend their broken hearts in this heartfelt drama. Maris Curran's debut feature recieved its world premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.
